Luis Agustin Olivares-Quiroz

Universidad Autonoma de la Ciudad de Mexico

Full time physics Professor at Universidad Autonoma de la Ciudad de Mexico and Member of the Centro de Ciencias de la Complejidad C3 UNAM. I obtained my PhD in Statistical Physics with applications to protein folding and molecular biology. Afterwards, I did postgraduate work in statistical physics of quantum ultra cold gases. Recent research interests comprise two main lines. On one hand, applications of graph and network theory to identification of active sites in biological macromolecules and enzymes. Secondly, Markovian and non-Markovian diffusion process in lattices and networks to explore transport systems, like, traffic and anomalous diffusion in soft condensed matter.
